A recurrent motif in specifying the body marked female,
menstruation has nevertheless remained on the periphery of
the feminist second wave. This interdisciplinary conference
will build on the success of IFTR's July 2002 Third Wave
Feminism conference, and invites papers from anthropology,
sociology and psychology, as well as literary and cultural
studies.
