interested!
The focus of ICFA 24 is on the darker side of the fantastic, on the strange
and horrific elements of myths, legends, and fairy tales that creep into
science fiction and fantasy.
We welcome proposals for individual papers and for academic sessions and
panels on any aspect of the fantastic. The deadline for submission of
proposals is 15 October 2002. Conference preregistration forms will be sent
to all current IAFA members.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING IN YOUR PROPOSAL:

INFO ON ALL AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT NEEDS.
In order to be considered for the 2003 program, your proposal to
(1) read a paper
(2) recruit and chair a paper session or
(3) organize and chair a panel discussion
must be date-stamped no later than October 15, 2002; electronic
correspondence is welcome.
ALL Proposals must be sent to the appropriate Division Head (addresses below).
NOTE: Proposals should include a 500-word abstract and appropriate
bibliography indicating the project's scholarly or theoretical context. Be
sure to include current/working contact information (snailmail AND email
address at least).
