Call for Papers - International Medieval Conference - Kalamazoo, Michigan -
May 8-11, 2003

The Center for Medieval Studies at the University of Minnesota is sponsoring
one session this year:
Teaching in the Middle Ages

Possible paper topics could address (but are not limited to) how visual arts
impact education, teacher/student relationships, the roles of Latin and
vernacular teaching, writing and memory, age and learning, etc.
Additionally, this topic could embrace the space beyond the church,
monastery and university by exploring apprenticeships, or perhaps the role
of family in teaching.
