Abstracts are invited for 20-minute papers on any subject related to Sir Thomas Wyatt or Henry Howard, earl of Surrey, including their literary relationship to immediate contemporaries.
Abstracts (300-500 words) must be received by September 15, 2002. Please send by email or snail mail to:

GUIDELINES:

1. This deadline is NOT a post-mark date; proposals sent by snail mail from the US must take account of international delivery times. Abstracts sent by email should be given in the body of the email or attached in Microsoft Word ’97 format.
2. All abstract submissions should be headed with the following information: proposed speaker’s name, institutional affiliation and paper title, a complete mailing address, home phone, work phone, fax number (if available) and email address.
3. Any request for audio-visual equipment must be made at the time of the abstract submission. Please request only equipment that is essential to the presentation, as supplies are limited. All audio-visual requests should be made with specific reference to guidelines given on the following website: http://www.wmich.edu/%7Emedinst/congress/Forms/avreq.html
4. No person may present or offer papers to more than one session of the conference, and all paper authors must read their papers personally (i.e., no surrogate readers).
5. Papers should not have been previously delivered or been scheduled for publication, and the reading time for papers must not exceed 20 minutes.
6. The submission of an abstract will be taken as an agreement to deliver the paper at Kalamazoo if accepted.
