Call for Papers: Age, Aging and Manners
DeBartolo Conference on Eighteenth-Century Studies
Tampa, Florida
February 20-22, 2003
Paper abstracts are invited for "Age, Aging and Manners," a
panel at the DeBartolo conference, 20-22 February, 2003, whose theme this
year is "The History of Manners." Papers from all disciplines and
theoretical approaches, which address the conjunctions, manifestations,
representations, stasis, or transformations of, or attitudes toward, age,
aging, and manners in the long eighteenth century, are welcome. Abstracts
(either e-mail or Word documents) should be sent by 15 September, 2002 to
christophermayo@earthlink.net. All papers will be subject to the final
approval of the DeBartolo Conference organizers.
