UPDATE: Anthony Powell and the Oxford of the 1920s,
04/07/03 - 04/08/03, Balliol College, Oxford

The conference programme has been restructured in order to better
satisfy the interests of delegates. Day one will remain as a plenary
conference but will be supported on day two by simultaneous workshop
sessions. It is intended that the less formal structure of the
workshops will allow for a freer debate and exchange of ideas. On the
afternoon of day two, delegates will be able to join a guided walk of
Oxford. Due to these changes, the deadline for the receipt of abstracts
for papers or proposals for workshops has now been extended to Monday 30
September 2002. Authors are reminded that the committee is particularly
keen to receive papers/workshops addressing the conference theme
"Anthony Powell and Oxford of the 1920s".
