Call For Papers

The First Scottish Graduate Research Conference

A one-day Conference

Department of English Studies
University of Strathclyde
Glasgow

January 10th, 2003.

The Scottish Postgraduate Research Conference, intended as a semi-annual
event, will showcase the best and brightest Scotland has to offer in the
areas of English/ Scottish Literary and Cultural Studies. This is to be
understood as broadly as possible - we invite submissions for conference
papers on all topics. Graduate Research Students are invited to submit
abstracts of 300 - 400 words for papers of 25 minutes' duration.

The proceedings of the conference will be published as a special
issue/section of the online journal ecloga
(http://www.strath.ac.uk/ecloga/), edited in the Department of English
Studies.

Deadline for Submissions is November 15th. The conference fee will be £5.
