CFP: Ireland/America (4/30/02; journal issue)

The editiorial board of Etudes Irlandaises, a peer-reviewed journal of Irish
studies publishing articles in English and French, is now seeking submissions
for Vol. 28.2 to be published in Fall/Winter 2003.

The journal will explore the subject : Ireland/America in the 20th century,
addressing it from a variety of perspectives and disciplines, such as
literature, civilisation/culture, history and the visual arts.

Possible topics include, but are not limited to :

Irish-American poetry / novels / plays

The circulation and printing of Irish literature in America

Travel writings

The representation of Ireland in American movies

Irish studies in the US academic world

Irish popular culture in the USA

International relations between Ireland and the USA

Submissions (4 paper copies and disk PC or Mac) must be sent by April 30,
2003 to Pr. Wesley Hutchinson (Institut Charles V, rue Charles V, 75004
