Papers sought for a proposed panel on Early Lesbian Narratives by American
women writers for the Society for the Study of American Women Writers (SSAWW)
Second International Conference to be held in Fort Worth, Texas, September 24-
27, 2003.
Defining “early lesbian narrative” will be a central concern of the panel.
All theoretical approaches are welcome, as are papers on little known writers
or texts (both fiction and non-fiction). Papers on texts written before 1920
are preferred, but comparative studies between pre- and post-WWI narratives
are welcome.
Please send proposals by 12/15 to Kris Comment at k.comment@att.net (no
