Seeking paper proposals on film and computer culture. Papers may focus
on film representations of computer culture, films about artificial
intelligence, and related topics; and on computer techniques in film
production. We invite "close readings" of particular films as well as
broader cultural analyses.
Please submit a one-page abstract of your proposed project along with
a brief account of your academic career and research experience in
this area. (Note: you do not have to be an established expert in the
field; selection is made on the basis of the interest your paper is
likely to attract.)
Send your proposal, preferably via email, to the Computer Culture Area
