Cyber Fiction: With or Without History?
Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Association/American Culture
Association
24th Annual meeting
Date of Conference: February 12-15, 2003
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Conference Web site: <www.swtexaspca.org>

Seeking paper proposals on cyber fiction—recent novels, short stories,
Web creations. We are looking especially for papers on works that look
to the future to find the past or that see forces from the past
operating secretly in the present. But we are open to any topic or
approach that helps us to confront the more radical challenges of this
genre.

Please submit a one-page abstract of your proposed project along with
a brief account of your academic career and research experience in
this area. (Note: you do not have to be an established expert in the
field; selection is made on the basis of the interest your paper is
likely to attract.)

Send your proposal, preferably via email, to the Computer Culture Area
