Possible foci are practices like bisexuality, naturism, vegetarianism,
veganism, neopaganism, polyamory, and other alternatives to more
conventional modes of relating, behaving, and being. Related topics
might be ecology, holism, spirituality, and eroticism.
Papers are welcome about such practices based in any continent, region,
country, or time period. Aspects of these practices that may be
explored include the theories and philosophies that have inspired them,
the structures by, and communities in which they operate, and the
cultural, literary, and theoretical text they produce.
I would like this perspective seminar to reflect the current growth of
these practices and communities and their contributions to generating
new modes of thinking, relating, and being.
Please send one-page abstracts and bios by email to
serena1@centennialpr.net by January 5. You can also mail your materials
to Serena Anderlini-D'Onofrio, P.O. Box 1941,
