I am seeking papers for a proposed panel on "Elizabeth Stuart Phelps and
her Contemporaries," for the Society for the Study of American Women
Writers (SSAWW) conference in Ft. Worth, TX, SEPT. 24-27, 2003.

Please send 250 word abstracts for papers that address this topic from any
perspective (personal, professional, literary, social, religious,
transnational, etc.) to nzsofer@fas.harvard.edu. Email submissions only,
please. Attachments OK. Deadline for submissions: January 10, 2003.
