The conference theme for this 14th biennial conference, held in
Leatherstocking Country, is "Coming of Age: Gendered Perspectives." Although
we welcome abstracts on any aspect of Cooper's life and work, we are
especially interested in research on The Deerslayer or Susan Fenimore
Cooper's Elinor Wyllys.
