This SCMLA panel welcomes papers on any aspect of gay, lesbian and queer
communities as represented in film, literature, drama or rhetoric. For
instance, explore how friendship is portrayed as a replacement for family, a
vehicle for creativity, or perhaps as a means to transgress gendered or
racial boundaries.
The conference will be held in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
