CALL FOR PAPERS: Special session on Italian Futurism at the SAMLA
Conference, November 7-9, 2003, Atlanta, GA.
The literary and aesthetic movement of Futurism in Italy played an
essential role in the development of Modernism, both British and American.
However, because of its later association with Italian Fascism, much of
its influence has been ignored or denied. Abstracts and papers are invited
which examine the interactions between British or American Modernist works
and Italian Futurist sources.
Please send abstracts or paper via email as an attachment. Deadline: 31
March 2003.
