Call for Abstracts for an American Literature Association panel on
Contemporary African American Women Poets:
I'm seeking 1-2 paragraph abstracts on the work of poets such as Lucille
Clifton, Gwendolyn Brooks, Sonia Sanchez, Nikki Giovanni. Abstracts on other
contemporary black women poets are welcome as well.
This panel is being sponsored by the George Moses Horton Society for the
Study of African American Poetry. The panel will be proposed for the 2003
ALA conference, which will be held in Boston in late May.
Please send abstracts, complete contact info. (job title, home and work
addresses, phone nos., fax, email) and brief bio. to me by Fri., Jan. 17.
