The graduate students of the Department of Comparative Literature at the =
University of Washington, in conjunction with the Division of French and =
Italian Studies, invite scholars from across the disciplines to look at t=
he ways in which thought has been structured through the ages.

We welcome papers from all fields and all historical periods. Papers shou=
ld be in English, no more that 20 minutes (10 pages MLA format). Please s=
end an abstract of no more than 250 words by MONDAY, JANUARY 27, 2003 to:
