For MLA 2003, we invite submissions for a proposed special session on
innovations in teaching transatlantic responses to the industrial revolution.
Though all approaches are welcome, we are particularly interested in papers
exploring the use of networked or online technologies—in other words, how
today’s “revolutionary” technologies clarify or obscure those of the nineteenth
century.

500-word abstracts to Scott Ellis or Jason B. Jones. E-mail (preferred):
scott.ellis@lcc.gatech.edu or jason.jones@lcc.gatech.edu. Hard copies c/o the
School of Literature, Communication, and Culture, Georgia Institute of
Technology, 636 Cherry Street, Atlanta, GA 30332-0165.
