Writing Across the Curriculum, a permanent section of the M/MLA, will take
“Writing Across Communities: On Campus and Online” as its informal theme
for the 2003 conference. This panel invites papers from all disciplines on
any aspect of Writing Across the Curriculum and encourages proposals from
community colleges and online learning institutions in addition to
traditional four-year colleges and universities.

Topics may include:
---teaching strategies
---student experiences and response
---WAC on the web
---WAC in practice, in communities, in outreach
---structure and scope of departmental or university-wide training programs
---WAC and writing, teaching, and/or learning centers
---WAC research
---new incarnations of or innovative alternatives to WAC on campus or
online

Please email 250-400 word abstracts by March 31, 2003, to:
