"Our Individual Classrooms: Active Feminist Pedagogies"
Last year, the Women's Caucus of the Midwest Modern Language Association
held a lively, useful discussion about active pedagogies. This year, we
look to continue that discussion as we narrow our focus to feminist
pedagogies. We seek papers that examine feminist practices in the
classroom and the issues confronting feminist teachers on campuses
today. We encourage papers that provide practical examples and
suggestions for feminist practice.
The 45th annual meeting of the Midwest Modern Language Association will
take place on November 7th to 9th in Chicago, Illinois.
