(dis)junctions: morphing the written word (april 11-12, 2003)

The Bauhaus

This call for papers is for a proposed panel to be held at
"(dis)junctions: morphing the written word," the University of
California Riverside's 10th Annual Humanities Conference. It will take
place April 11-12, 2003.

Contributors are invited to submit abstracts on or relating to any
aspect of the Bauhaus. These may include discussions of the ideological
origins of the Bauhaus, specific workshops, teaching practices, the
absence of a =93Bauhaus style=94, movements that influenced the
Bauhaus and vice versa, or the Nazi closing of the Bauhaus.
Multidisciplinary approaches are highly encouraged.

One page abstracts should be emailed to: sarahcaylor_at_hotmail.com by
February 14th, 2003. Please put the text in the body of the message-- no
attachments. The subject line should read: =93(dis)junctions, Bauhaus
