This call for papers is for a proposed panel to be
held at
"(Dis)junctions: Morphing the Written Word," the
University
of California at Riverside's 10th Annual Humanities
Conference. It will take place April 11-12, 2003. For

Contributors are invited to submit papers on any
aspect of literary production by Asian-American
authors, poets, and playwrights. Possible
approaches include, but are not limited to:
-Theoretical approaches to Asian-American literature
-The diaspora
-Identity politics
-Children's lit.
-Autobiography/Memoir
-Drama
-Examining the works of Lisa Lowe, David Mura or
Martin Manalansan IV
-Biraciality and Multiraciality
-Assimilation
-Post-colonialism
All disciplines are welcome. One page abstracts (250
words) should be emailed to: joygayhappy by February
14th, 2003. Please put the text in the body of the
