CFP: Romances of the Global (3/20/03; MLA '03)

Special session for the 2003 MLA convention in San Diego

Session Title: “Romances of the Global”

Description: Papers might address: (1) romance plots involving crossing of
national, racial, or religious boundaries; (2) the romanticization of
globalization in theories of the global; or (3) the politics of publication and
reception of Anglophone fiction in the U.S.
