UPDATE: Celebrating Appalachian Heritage (grad) (3/31/03; SAMLA, 11/14/03-11/16/03)

Participants who present a paper dealing with North Carolina
authors or works set in North Carolina will be encouraged to
submit their paper to the North Carolina Literary Review for
publication consideration. The 2004 issue will feature "Ethnic
North Carolina." The editor is interested,for example, in papers
that examine Appalachian ethnicity in the same manner that John
Shelton Reed examines Southern ethnicity. Please submit proposals
by March 31 to Annette McGrew zjac5_at_imail.etsu.edu.
