21st Annual Medieval Graduate Student Conference
Medieval Lives: Cultures and Contexts of the Middle Ages

The New England Medieval Studies Consortium (Yale, Brown, and University of
Connecticut) announces its 21st annual Medieval Graduate Student Conference,
to be held and hosted this year by the Storrs campus of the University of
Connecticut.
We invite papers from scholars in History, Literature, Art History, Music,
Drama, Linguistics, Philosophy, and Classics which pertain to the main topic
or are of general interest to Medieval Studies. Interdisciplinary papers are
encouraged.
All paper proposals are due by June 1, 2003; the conference will be held on
October 18.
Paper abstracts should be 250-300 words with a brief cover letter, and may
be submitted either via e-mail to uconnmgsc@hotmail.com , or by standard
mail (Medieval Studies Graduate Conference c/o J. Eyler and J. Sexton,
University of Connecticut, Medieval Studies Program U-4025, 215 Glenbrook
Rd., Storrs, CT 06269-4025). The same addresses may be used for general
information and inquiries.
