CFP: Teaching Shakespeare's Measure for Measure

Popular Culture/American Culture Association in the South Conference
                Jacksonville, Florida October 2-4, 2003
        Deadline: May 12, 2003

The Shakespeare Interest Group of the Popular Culture/American Culture
Association in the South Conference will focus this year on the challenges
of teaching Shakespeare's Measure for Measure. Each panelist will make a
fifteen-minute presentation on the particular problems that he or she has
encountered in teaching this play to today's students. These presentations
will be followed by a roundtable discussion. Please send abstracts (100-150
words) by May 12, 2003, to Prof. Emily Miller, Department of English and
Fine Arts, Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, Virginia 24450 or e-mail
them to millerep@vmi.edu.
