University of Louisville, Thirty-second Annual 20th--Century Literature
Conference, February 26-28, 2004.
I invite submissions of 250 word abstracts for twenty-minute presentations
which address the theme of travel in recent poetry and investigate the
tension between the free play of language and the specificity of place.
Among issues that could be considered are:
Pilgrimage
Quest
History and Exploration
Migration and/or Diaspora
