Hello,

Please post this notice.

Dual-Enrollment Programs and College Composition, CEAO,
Cleveland OH (9-30-03; 11-14-03)

In eight states, students as young as fourteen can now apply for
classes which grant credit for both high school and college. Ohio
is one of those eight, but implications for high school English and
college composition teachers will become increasingly relevant
throughout the U.S.

Interested parties -- including both high school and college
teachers and administrators -- should offer more than anecdotal
experience; some research is expected. The panel aims to discuss
both positive and negative aspects.

The conference will be held in Cleveland, OH. Submissions should
include a 150-word abstract and CV. The deadline is September
30; no membership in a professional organization is required.
