The Jim Harrison society would like to invite paper
prosals on all aspects of Harrison's work for our
panel at the ALA in San Francisco (May27-30, 2004).
Possible topics may include, but are not limited to:
1- visions of masculinity in Harrison's work (fiction
and non-fiction
2- the role of history and landscape
3- "a poet writes prose" the relationship between
Harrison's poetry and his prose
4- "whores, heroines and havens: the role of women in
Harrison's fiction"
5- contemporary legends
6- film and fiction: Harrison's word turned image
Please submit proposals by DECEMBER 15TH 2003
