CFP: Early Modern Islam and the West: Science, Art, Technology

SLS Paris 2004 (Society for Literature and Science). June 23-26, at
the Cité Universitaire.

Session(s) on the encounter (conflict, exchange, resistance,
appropriation) between medieval and early modern European/Christian
culture and the culture of Islam. Mathematics and technology,
painting and architecture, ornamental design, astronomy, cosmology,
epistemology.
