Special Topic Session on Richard Wilbur, former U.S. Poet Laureate, at
the 2004 Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association Convention in
Boulder, Colorado from Sept. 30 - Oct. 2.

This special session appears in the call for papers (available on the
RMMLA website) under English-U.S. and Canadian Studies.

Papers on any aspect of Richard Wilbur's poetry or prose are welcome --
including a comparison between Wilbur and any other well-respected poet.
Papers about the influence of Americans such as Edgar Allan Poe or
Robert Frost on Wilbur or the influence of Europeans such as William
Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, or Percy Bysshe Shelley on Wilbur
are encouraged.

Please send a 300 word abstract of your paper by e-mail or regular mail
