Proposals sought for panel on nineteenth- and early twentieth- century
children's periodicals to be proposed for the American Studies
Association, Atlanta, November 11-14, 2004. Papers might focus on
periodical design, periodical literature, periodical readerships,
representations and constructions of race, class, and gender in
