Robert Penn Warren Revisited: Reconsidering Readings from the Warren Canon

In recent years, we have reconsidered issues of race, gender and even the
paternity of Jack Burden; this year, in preparation for the Centennial of
Robert Penn Warren's birth in 2005, the Circle would like to continue to
explore Warren's diverse body of work from new or comparative perspectives.
We are inviting papers on any topic that focuses on Warren and/or his
"circle".

Abstracts should be received by February 1; e-mail submissions are preferred
(send as an attachment in MS Word or .RTF format, or as a last resort, in
the body of the message).

Graduate students are encouraged to send abstracts by the above date and
submit completed papers no later than April 1 for award consideration. The
Graduate Student award is $100.
