The Second Annual Conference of the
NORTH AMERICAN VICTORIAN STUDIES ASSOCIATION
Co-hosted by the Victorian Studies Association of Ontario
Toronto: 28-31 October 2004

UPDATE

Please note that NAVSA's special sessions and affiliated panels have changed
since our original call for papers.

Plenary speakers and Seminar leaders still include JAMES ELI ADAMS, PATRICK
BRANTLINGER, KATE FLINT, LINDA and MICHAEL HUTCHEON, AUDREY JAFFE, DIANNE
SACHKO MACLEOD, JEROME MCGANN, HARRIET RITVO, and JAMES VERNON. Special
panels are now organized by Annmarie Adams, Richard Dellamora, Kathy Alexis
Psomiades, Dianne Sadoff, Ann B. Shteir, and Marjorie Stone. Papers
rejected from special sessions will be given a second vetting by the general
conference committee. Affiliated organizations running panels now include
the Dickens Project, HBA, INCS, MVSA, NCSA, RSVP, VISAWUS, VSAWC, and WMS.
The conference is open to all NAVSA or VSAO members who have paid their 2004
