This year's regularly scheduled session once again seeks to explore the
ways in which literature and politics intersect and interact. The meeting
will be held in New Orleans, and the general theme will be "Cultural
Confluences." While papers on all aspects of literature and politics are
welcome, those focusing on this year's theme will be especially welcome.
Please send proposals of approximately 500 words to Mark Hama, Angelo State
University, Department of English, San Angelo, TX 76909, or e-mail them to
mark.hama@angelo.edu by March 15, 2004.
