Call for Papers: Italian Literature: "'The Sopranos': Cultural
Confluences in HBO's Hit Series: Cultural Confluences in the Popular
TV Show"
Regular Session, 2004 SCMLA Convention
DEADLINE March 15, 2004

'The Sopranos' has attracted a very large audience on cable channel
HBO and extensive criticism for its portrayal of Italian-Americans.
This session explores these and other aspects of this phenomenon.
Please send anonymous abstracts of 500 words to the session chair:
