CFP: Literature and Ethics, PAMLA conference, Nov. 5-7, 2004
Proposals and abstracts are invited for the LITERATURE AND ETHICS
panel at the annual PAMLA (Pacific Ancient and Modern Language Association)
conference. The 2004 meeting will be held on the campus of Reed College,
Portland, Oregon from 5-7 November 2004. More information, including
registration and conference program information, may be found at
http://www.pamla.org.
I welcome submissions exploring various topics concerning literature and ethics
from any period, but papers that engage the concept of ethics in the Levinasian
sense are particularly encouraged.
Proposals of 500 words and a 50-word abstract should be submitted
by March 15, 2004 to Monika Hogan at nika@english.umass.edu.
