Walter J. Ong for the 21st Century: The purpose of this
special session is to consider how Rev. Walter J. Ong’s
corpus of writing has far-reaching influence in the fields
of study we believe are important and foundational to our
own scholarly work and which invigorates our professional
discourse. Papers are welcome on any topic pertaining to
Ong and inter-disciplinary concerns. Specific interests in
“Ong and Performance” and “Ong: Rhetoric and
Literature” are especially welcome. Please contact:
