Panel: Taylor Gordon and the African American West [Western Literature
Association Conference, Big Sky, Montana; deadline April 30, 2004]
Please submit abstracts for presentations on Montana-born African American
writer Taylor Gordon and his 1929 autobiography "Born to Be" for a panel at
the Western Literature Association's annual conference, held this year in
Big Sky, Montana (September 29-October 2, 2004). Presentations can focus on
any element of Gordon's life or work, but I'm particularly interested in
presentations that consider Gordon in the context of other African American
western writers.
