This is a call for papers to complete the programme for the Symposium on
New African Cinemas to take place at Trinity College, Cambridge, England,
on Saturday May 8th 2004, as part of the Third Cambridge African Film
Festival (www.cambridgeafricanfilmfestival.co.uk). Any papers addressing
aspects of New African Cinemas - e.g. cinemas emerging in new African
contexts, films made by African women, films challenging the modes of
early African cinema etc. - are welcome. Deadline is 16 April 2004. Please
