CALL FOR PAPERS
2005 NATIONAL PCA/ACA CONFERENCE
San Diego, California
The Journalism and Popular Culture Area of
the Popular Culture Association invites papers for the
2005 PCA/ACA National Conference to be held at
the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina on March 23-26,
2005. Any submissions looking at the subject of
journalism will be considered.
The deadline for submission of abstracts and/or papers
is NOVEMBER 1, 2004.
Please submit a title, a brief 50-word summary of your paper/
presentation, and mail or e-mail it to:

NOTE: All presenters must be members of the PCA and must
register for the conference. Membership and registration forms
will be sent to you upon acceptance of your presentation.
I also urge you to bring 25 copies of your paper to be sold
at the conference. Proceeds go to the PCA/ACA
Endowment Fund.
You are highly encouraged to enhance your presentation
through audio-visuals. Each conference room will be
equipped with a DVD player/projector/screen. No other
equipment is available. You may bring a laptop and
project a presentation through the projector, but be sure
to bring a cord!
If you have specific days and times at which you would
like to present, please let me know at the time of submission.
I will forward your request to the schedulers. Please be
aware that not all requests can be honored.
