Call For Papers: 40th International Congress on Medieval Studies at Western
Michigan University (May 5-8, 2005): EXTENDED DEADLINE
The UC Davis Medieval Research Consortium invites abstracts of 20-minute
papers for the following sponsored session:
I. Kings, Clerics, and Violence: History in the Making
This session will address the ways in which violence has been used -- both
historically and in the construction of history -- in various national
chronicles, documents and literature.
Please send 500 word abstracts by email attachment or surface mail by
September 15, 2004. Include complete contact information and any A.V.
requirements. We welcome submissions from graduate students as well as
independent and established scholars.
