College English Association National Conference
March 31-April 2, 2005
Indianapolis, Indiana

We invite papers for the panel "Variegated Spaces: The Work of Kurt
Vonnegut" for the 36th Annual meeting of the CEA. Ideally, papers
should relate some aspect of Kurt Vonnegut's work to the conference
theme of "Spaces." This designation can assume wide metaphorical
meaning: e.g., cultural, narratological, political, contested,
technological, ideological, postmodern, satirical, etc. "spaces"; space
and subjectivity, space and identity, space and time, etc.
Additionally, because the panel is honoring a native of Indianapolis in
his home city, biographically oriented papers are also welcome.

Proposals should include the following information:
Name
Institutional Affiliation (if applicable)
Mailing Address (including zip code)
Phone number
Email address
Title for the proposed presentation
Abstract of no more than 500 words
A-V needs, if any
Special needs, if any

Submit proposals by email or regular mail by October 18th. If you email
a proposal, please paste it into the body of the email message, rather
than attaching a separate file.

Vonnegut" panel to
