I am interested in papers that explore the relationship between =
economics and literature for the next South Central Society for =
Eighteenth-Century Studies conference (to be held in Saint Simon's =
Island, GA). The panel is titled, "Navigating the 18th-century Economy: =
Literary Responses to Trade, Commerce, Manufacturing, Agriculture, =
Banking, and all things related to Wealth in and outside of Britain." =
Possible topics are as open as the title implies, though papers that =
emphasize the economic side of the equation (as in, economic analysis, =
economic history and/or the history of economic theory) would be of =
special interest.

Send proposals via email to Michael Rotenberg-Schwartz at mjs205_at_nyu.edu =
by October 18. For more information on the conference, please consult =
