A colloquium on Race, Identity, and Nationality will be hosted by the
Graduate Students of the French and Italian, German, Comparative
Literature, and Spanish and Portuguese Departments at Vanderbilt
University in Nashville, Tennessee. This colloquium is organized by
graduate students in order to give other graduate students and recent
degree holders an opportunity to share their current work related to the
conference theme. Please keep in mind that papers should not exceed a
reading period of 20 minutes (8 pages) in order to allow sufficient time
for discussion. Papers must be presented in English.
Please submit a 250-word abstract postmarked by January 15, 2005, to
Professor Lynn Ramey (lynn.ramey_at_vanderbilt.edu). Email submission
preferred. Please do not send attachments; include the abstract in the
body of the email.
