CFP: Cervantine Traces in English Literature (Spain) (9/15/05; 11/17/05-11/18/05)

Dear colleagues,

This year 2005, we celebrate the four hundredth anniversary of Don =
Quixote's publication. Due to Cervantes' connections with Valladolid =
(Spain), the Department of English Studies at the University of =
Valladolid will celebrate a Conference focused on "Las huellas =
cervantinas en la literatura en lengua inglesa" (Cervantine Traces in =
English Literature). It will take place the 17th and 18th November 2005 =
in the Facultad de Filosof=EDa y Letras at the University of Valladolid.

We invite all those interested in this topic to send abstracts before =
15th September 2005 to the following e-mail addresses: =
lfilardo_at_fyl.uva.es , mmgr_at_fyl.uva.es . Submissions should also be =
accompanied by the attached form to this e-mail. Successful candidates =
will be notified as soon as possible and they will receive the full =
program of the Conference by September. More information will be given =
upon selection of the abstracts.
