This is a CFP for a panel that will be proposed for the MLA 2005
convention.

Panel Title: Palimpsest Lives: England 1500-1700.
MLA December 27-30, 2005, Washington, D.C.
Deadline: March 15, 2005

400-word proposals are invited for papers examining autobiographical
notes, fragments, or narratives written over, across, or around other
texts: in margins, on inserted pages, across older manuscripts or
printed books. What are the implications of this mode of written
subjectivity?
