Boundaries of Literature: Examining Literature in an Interdisciplinary Setting

We welcome proposals for papers on interdisciplinary topics intersecting with literature.
We seek to discuss the extent that interdisciplinary studies are valuable and the manner that each discipline should remain distinct from the others. How do we classify literary texts? Is there a unity of knowledge, and even if such unity is present, will political concerns influence any exchange between literature and other disciplines? Have we lost a context for literary studies? How do interdisciplinary studies maintain academic integrity?
To be considered, proposals must contain a title and a one-page, double-spaced abstract. Also include your name, e-mail address, mailing address, and a brief biography. Electronic submissions are welcome. Send proposals or inquiries to the following:
