CFP: Pacific NW Literature (3/11/05; RMMLA, 10/20/05-10/22/05)

Hello,

I am the chair of the Pacific Northwest Literature session, scheduled
for the Fall 2005 annual meeting of the Rocky Mountain MLA.

I am still accepting submissions until March 11, 2005.

If you have some interest and/or scholarly research in the area of
Pacific Northwest Literature, please send a 100 word abstract to
tknudsen_at_scc.spokane.edu

Last year, there were two presenters:

Jess Walter, author of Ruby Ridge, Land of the Blind, and Over Tumbled
Graves

Teresa Knudsen "Confessions and Lost Heroes" which examined shared
themes of Jim Carroll, Sherman Alexie, and Jess Walter.
